Grandma’s Sauerkraut Casserole

12 oz. egg noodles

1 large can Frank's quality kraut

1-3 T caraway seed

1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 large onion

1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese


1cook noodles as directed, drain.

2saute onion in butter.

3drain kraut.

4mix everything except cheese together and put in 9X13" glass cake pan.

5sprinkle cheese on top, cover with aluminum foil and bake 1 hr. at 350 degrees.

6Note: add a touch or a bunch of brown sugar, pepper, or mustard as you please!

7Serve hot!
