Heavenly Baked Frank’s kraut and Ribs

Ingredients

2 jars or bags of Frank's Kraut

large family pack of boneless pork ribs (western style)

salt

Pepper

Brown sugar

Directions

1Braise pork ribs in a hot greased skillet. Sear each piece on all sides. (Do not cook the meat through).

2Layer 1/2 of the seared meat into a large casserole dish.

3Sprinkle salt and pepper over the meat. Sprinkle liberal amount of brown sugar over meat.

4Open container of sauerkrout, place the sauerkrout over the meat, ensuring to cover all of the meat.

5Pour juice in also. Salt and Pepper over the sauerkrout. Layer remaining meat over the layer of sauerkrout.

6Sprinkle salt and pepper over the meat. Sprinkle a liberal amount of brown sugar over the meat and Frank's Kraut.

7Layer the second container of Frank's Kraut over the meat, including the juice, covering all of the meat layer. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the last layer of sauerkrout, repeat the layer of brown sugar over the sauerkrout.

8Cover dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 3 1/2 hours. Service with mashed potatoes and a vegatable of your choice. Serves a family of 5.
