Kraut and chops

4 to 6 pork chops

1 or 2 cans Franks Kraut

6-8 medium to large potatoes


1Brown chops in small amount of oil. Salt and pepper them.

2Remove chops from pan and set aside. Place kraut in the same pan and add 2 cans of water.

3Simmer kraut in pan to allow it to mix with the chop remains, 5-15 min.

4Place chops in roasting pan and cover with the kraut. Cover roaster and place it in a 350 degree oven for 45-60 min

5While chops and kraut are baking boil the potatos until ready for mashing.

6Mash the spuds add a little milk to remove the lumps.

7Place spuds on a plate and cover them with the kraut. Set chop along side and add the juice over all of it. The kraut will turn a medium brown and tastes fantastic.
