Noodles and Frank’s kraut

Ingredients

2 medium onions, chopped

2 TB extra virgin olive oil

6 TB butter

1 can (27 oz.) Frank's Kraut, rinsed and drained

1 bag (12 o.z) medium-wide noodles, cooked and drained

Directions

1Saute onions in oil plus 2 tablespoons of the butter over low heat until lightly browned 3 to 4 minutes

2Add Frank's Kraut to onions, mixing well.

3Boil noodles according to package directions but cook only for 5 minutes.

4Drain then add remaining 4 tablespoons butter to noodles.

5Add noodles to Frank's Kraut mixture, stirring to mix well.

6Spoon into 2 or 3 quart casserole or dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7When ready to bake, remove from refrigerator and bring to room temperature for 30 minutes

8Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

9Dot casserole with butter.
