Pork Loin Dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 Pork Loin
  • 1 Large Yellow Onion (cut into 8 wedges)
  • 1 Large jar Franks Polish Style Kraut (Do not drain)
  • Approx. 1 lb. new (red) potatoes (Quartered)
  • 1 Pkg. dry Lipton Onion Soup mix
  • Approx. 3 tsp Roasted Garlic (powdered)
  • Approx. 3 tsp Grill Mates Pork Rub

Method

Step 1

Sprinkle pork rub and garlic on each side of pork loin

Step 2

Cut pork loin in half and place in large crock pot

Step 3

Layer the potatoes, onions, Kraut and onion soup mix in 3 layers on top of pork loin

Step 4

The liquid from the Kraut can be added on top of the layers

Step 5

Add approx. ½ jar (using Kraut jar) of water to get liquid to ¼” below top layer

Step 6

Cook in crock pot on high for 2 hours, then reduce to low for 3-4 hours

Step 7

If desired, mix layers with large spoon after reducing heat
