Reuben Pie

1/2 cup half and half

1 egg -- beaten

1 medium onion -- chopped

1 teaspoon mustard -- sharp

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

12 ounces corned beef -- shredded

8 ounces Frank's Kraut -- drained

1/2 pound ground beef -- uncooked

2 slices soft pumpernickel bread -- crumbled

1 deep dish frozen pie crust

4 ounces Swiss cheese -- grated

chopped fresh parsley


1In medium bowl, combine cream, egg, onion, mustard, salt, and pepper.

2In large bowl, mix corned beef, Frank's Kraut, ground beef, and bread crumbs. Add first mixture and mix well.

3Place half of mixture in pie shell. Sprinkle cheese evenly over top. Cover with remaining mixture. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired.

4Bake in preheated 375F oven for 35 minutes.
