Ingredients

  • 6 cups Sauerkruat
  • 4cups sliced onion
  • 1 teaspoon Sage
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 3 cups long cooking rice
  • 3 eggs

Method

Step 1

Drain the kraut and slice the onion and mix well together .

Step 2

Next mix in the seasonings and then the rice

Step 3

Add the eggs all at once.

Step 4

Mix everything together an place in the body of the goose.

Step 5

Spray the goose with butter flavored pan spray and in a large roaster pan on a rack bake for depending on size of goose at least 5 hours at 325 .

Step 6

Remove the lid and brown the goose and remove the dressing a serve on the side and cool the bird and then slice.
