Swiss & Kraut Sandwich

heavy dark bread, two large slices

honey mustard, four teaspoons

saurkraut 1/2 cup

four slices deli swiss cheese

bacon drippings


1Fry kraut in spoonfull of drippings until juice is gone and slightly brown,set aside

2spread bread both slices with honey mustard, then top with two slices of swiss, making sure cheese covers the bread.

3spread kraut on top of cheese on one side, not to the edge. place other slice on top so edge s of cheese touch.

4Brush bread with more drippings and grill in heavy skillet untill crisp and cheese melts

5serve with potato salad
