My Mum's Sauerkraut Servings: 7-8

3-4 jars of Sauerkraut
a big big gamon
1 tin of pineapple in juice not syrup
- first get a big oven proof dish with lid.put all the Sauerkraut in it(with a fork it works wonders)put the gammon in.sprinkel all the pinapplechunks around it.put some water in until the Suerkraut is fully covered and the gammon at least 3 quarters.Then put it in the oven,not full power butjust over half.leave it in the oven for at least 2 hours but in intervalls check and fill up with the remaining juice and more water,and dont forget to turn ur gammon.sereve it with boiled potatoes and a blob of butter.sorry but im german and my english is not that good,but when my Mum made this for Dinner i loved it.
