4 Western style pork ribs (lean)
1 14 oz. can sauerkraut
5 or 6 small redskin potatoes (unpeeled)
1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes (I zap in blender)
Water (rinse out tomato can)
Pepper (I use seasoned pepper)
- Rinse and drain kraut. Put in the bottom of crock pot. Cover with ribs, potatoes, pepper, tomatoes & water. Turn crock pot on high. Go to work. Come home to a wonderful aroma.
- Break up meat and potatoes; remove bones. Breaking up the potatoes absorbs a little of the liquid. It will be a little soupy -- we eat it in bowls.

Cook Time: 8 hours or all day
