2 large cans sauerkraut
package of polish sauage smoked
1 large onion
2 tablespoons prepared chopped garlic
2 tablespoons butter
- drain sauerkraut. then add water to sauerkraut in a pan to cover. this is to soak for about 20 minutes-- then drain
- slice sausage into slices
slice onions
- place all ingredients into a greased flat baking dish-- place sausage on the top. dab with butter. bake for 30 minutes at 350.
- this is great wspecially for new years eve- even people who do not like sauerkraut will love this.
Prep Time: about 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
