Kraut casserole Servings: 8

1 1/2 pounds ground beef - browned
20 ounces sauerkraut, drained
1 10 ounce pkg egg noodles
1 lg + 1 sm can cream of mushroom soup
8 slices American cheese
- Brown beef, drain and spread on the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish.
- Drain kraut and spread over the beef.
- Layer the raw noodles over the kraut - you can add or subtract to your preference
- Spread the soup over the raw noodles, cover as many of the noodles as possible.
- Cover with tin foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until noodles are soft.
- Remove tin foil, cover with cheese and bake for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
