cabbage
kosher salt
white vinegar
sugar
- Be sure to make in the full moon. have jars and lids ready.
- chop or shread cabbage, add to jars, put 1t salt, 1t sugar,
1t vinegar, add very hot water,
wipe rims seal jars, process for
5 minutes in hot water bath, or
I have omitted the hot water bath.
store in a cool dark place, will be ready in about 6 weeks, I have had good luck with this, Nicky
