Grandma Koch's Kraut |

Ingredients
2 lb. sauerkraut
1 can condensed beef broth
1 can water
1 medium onion diced
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4.3 ounce sliced mushrooms (optional
Directions
rinse kraut cover with water in 3 quart sauce pan.Bring to a boil and drain off water.
Add 1 can condensed beef broth and 1 can water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour.
while the kraut simmers dice and brown 1 medium onion in 2 tablespoons olive oil.
add 3 tablespoons flour,salt and pepper to taste to the onions. Mix well and add to kraut.
Stir in one small jar or can of sliced mushrooms.
