Sauerkraut Casserole

Ingredients

1 bag of sauerkraut
2 lbs of hamberger
plenty of mashed potatoes to cover
butter 1/4 stick melted

Directions

brown hamberger

place meat in bottom of 9x13 cake pan

next drain some juice off of sauerkraut then spread evenly over meat mixture

place mashed potatoes all over top of sauerkraut evenly

melt butter and drizzle over potatoes

place in oven 350 degrees and bake 45 mins or until nice and hot throughout

Comments

you can use sausage sliced up or ham instead of hamberger

perpare potatoes ahead of time cuts, down prep time

4-6

30 min. Cook time 45 min.
