Ingredients
4 Large BBQ Hot Dogs
2 Cups Sauerkraut, drained
4 Vienna or Pannini Buns
1 Medium Onion, chopped
8 oz Sharp or Old Cheddar Cheese, grated
Dried Crushed Chillies (optional)
Directions
Cook hot dogs according to taste, either by boiling, BBQ or microwave. Split in halves.
Saute onion in small amount of butter until opaque. Drain sauerkraut, add to onion and heat until bubbling.
Split buns and brown under broiler. Put one hot dog on each bun and top with sauerkraut. Sprinkle cheese over top, then add crushed chillies to taste.
Broil until cheese is melted and bubbly.
