Bierocks

By Diane Frederick, Gig Harbor, WA

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/2 can Franks Kraut, squeeze out juice
1 sm potatoe, peel dice very small
1/2 med onion, dice small
1 box Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix
spicy mustard
swiss cheese, sliced
butter, 1/2 stick
salt & pepper

Directions

Preheat oven 350 F Mix Hot Roll mix as directed on the box.

brown ground beef, once brown add potatoe, onion, salt & pepper to taste. Cook med-low until potatoe is cooked thru. Drain off any grease and add kraut.

set aside beef mixture. After dough has risen for last time, pinch apart into 4 pieces. Use a rolling pin and roll out to 1/4 of an inch. Cut into 7" squares. Fill w/1cup of mixture. Fold over into a triangle and pinch close. Once all dough has been filled brush with melted butter and bake. Before you pinch close if you prefer, as I do, add a slice of swiss cheese. Bake 20 minutes.

Once done let set 5 minutes and dip sandwich in mustart or any other condiment you prefer.
