Curried Kraut

Ingredients

Kraut 1 can (drained)
Beef (cubed) 2 lb
Curry powder 2 tsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil 3 tbsp
Onion 1 sliced and diced

Directions

heat oil.Saute the onions till soft.Add curry powder and a little water and fry till oil floats.

Add beef.Cook for half an hour.Then pour in the kraute and stir well.Cover the pot and let it simmer for another twenty to thirty minutes.

Open the lid and let the excess liquid reduce.The gravy will be brown and thick and not too watery.

You can try it with hot rice and pita/tortilla or any bread.

6-8

Time to prepare

30 minutes;if the beef is precut then less. Cook Time: 1 hour.
