Creamed Sauerkraut

Ingredients

Boneless ham, amount to be determined according to number of desired servings
canned sauerkraut
salt and pepper
flour
water or milk

Directions

Boil the ham about 45 minutes ot one hour

Remove and keep warm, perserving the water.

Add salt and pepper to taste to the water.

Add canned sauerkraut, including the juice, to the water.

Make a base like for gravy or white sauce and add to the water. Stir until desired thickness.

Slice the ham.

Serve the creamed sauerkraut over mashed potatoes with sliced ham on the side.
