Sauerkraut and Pickled Pork |

Ingredients
pickled pork shoulder
sauerkraut (we use Tancook Island made locally)
2 med onions
water to cover
(peeled apples optional)
lots of pepper
Directions
Cook 3-4 hours in large pot...maintaining a gentle simmer. Add more water as necessary. Serve hot..meat will be very tender.Separate sauerkraut into separate serving dish and top with butter.

We always eat this with mashed potatoes.
