Bauch's Sauerkraut and Sausage Soup |

Ingredients
2 c. sauerkraut, finely chopped
4 c. water
1 onion, finely chopped
3 T. bacon fat
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 # sausage
3 T. flour
Directions
Boil sauerkraut in water until tender. Brown onion in bacon fat; add paprika. Shape sausage into tiny balls and brown in fat. Remove fat from boining sauerkraut. Stir flour into fat remaining in the pan. Thin with a cup of the broth and stir until thick. Combine with sauerkraut. Heat to boiling and serve topped with a tablespoon of sour cream. This soup is delicious!!! Dont leave out the sour cream.

For me no Bacon and no flour. Pan Fried in a Wok and sesame seeds and Cinnamon, Bulgarian Plain Low Fat yogurt on top instead of sour cream. Fine cut fresh Chives and Rosemary and Thyme.
Then combine in Soup. FABU.
